We support educators by providing resources for the classroom through grants, incentives and basic needs for students. On average teachers around the nation spend nearly $1,200 out of pocket each year. The Granite Education Foundation connects teachers to resources that lighten this load in the Granite School District.

Cash for Classrooms
Cash for Classrooms provide a financial means for educators to create experiences that enrich and enhance student learning. From butterfly gardens to building the ultimate music library, grants from Granite Education Foundation have allowed teachers to offer innovative projects and opportunities to their students.

Holiday Assistance (Secondary Santa Sack)
This holiday assistance is for students 13 to 18. A Walmart $50 gift card will be included in the Santa Sack.

Innovative Impact Grant
Innovation Impact Grants provide direct funding of up to $1,000+ to innovative and creative proposals that create new or enhanced programming, services, or educational opportunities in education. Santa Sacks is a holiday program that provides gifts and basic necessities for impoverished preschool through sixth grade students in the Granite School District. This program is made possible by the generous donations of individuals and businesses in our community.

Student Aid Requests
The student aid request form tracks requests from school social workers or psychologists on behalf of students in the Granite School District. Students may be in need of shoes, clothing items, hygiene kits or other basic needs that will assist in their overall well-being.

Angel Tree Application
Please print and return the Angel Tree Application to the Granite Education Foundation. Please be sure to verify that ALL of the information is filled out and that the application is signed (2 pages). Applications must be received by the Foundation on or before October 19, 2016 at 5:00pm. Families are eligible for the Angle Tree program every other year. (If a family submits a form and has received assistance the previous year, the application will be denied and sent back to the school.)
Note: Children 13 and over are not eligible for the Angel Tree program. You can submit a separate request for Holiday Assistance.
