Each year, 9 classroom teachers and 1 school principal are honored for their efforts in forging a “Legacy of Leadership & Learning” in the difficult and vital work that they do every day, at an Excel Evening of Honors event with a dinner, videos of their accomplishments, a $1,500 check, and gifts from community sponsors. If you submitted a nomination for a Classroom Teacher who is a "T.E.A.M. Player", who makes a difference everyday and would be an "Excel"-lent candidate to represent the Granite School District as the Teacher of the Year and Utah Teacher of the Year nominee, or a remarkable administrator, then they have been sent a link to apply for the Excel Educator Award program. You can encourage them to apply.

All nominees, whether qualified to apply for Teacher of the Year or not, will receive your kind words and nomination information with a thank you from the Granite Education Foundation. Thank you for encouraging your educator to participate in this representative program!

How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
