Teacher Appreciation Fair
The Teacher Appreciation Fair exists to celebrate and recognize teachers for their hard work. The Fair is an effort to connect businesses, community organizations, and educators in one place while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. Throughout the year, Granite Education Foundation collects donations from the community and businesses to support their overall mission, but any donations over program needs are then used in the annual Teacher Sweep. A Black Friday style event where Granite educators get items for their classrooms, schools, and homes. The event includes teacher giveaways, food trucks, Teacher Sweep, vendors with teacher discounts, GEF donors, and just any other way to show educators how much we appreciate their service.
Ways to Get Involved
Sponsors have the unique opportunity to engage with over 150 Granite educators, hand out swag, and demonstrate their support for teachers and educators in our community. For sponsorship opportunities, please use our Contact Us form and we will send you the most up to date details.
Items We Collect
- Teacher supplies (preferably new!)
- School supplies, decorations, books, de-stress items, manipulatives, incentives, etc.
- Gift cards and/or vouchers for haircuts, oil changes, performances, games, etc.
- Teacher discount coupons and/or information
- Gift baskets
- Financial contributions in any amount
We want to extend an invitation to community members who are passionate about this initiative to apply to the Teacher Appreciation Fair Committee. This volunteer committee of 5-15 is tasked with executing the Appreciation Fair event by assisting with resource development and event coordination.
