Drives and Service Projects

If you are looking for a project for an individual or group to complete, you've come to the right place. Below are some ideas for service project opportunities. If you see one you are interested in completing, please contact us at 385-646-5437 or email contact@granitekids.for more details and coordinating the project. Needs differ based on the time of year, but common projects include assembling food kits, assembling Santa Sacks, sorting new clothing, and more. 

Put On Your Own Drive!

Putting on your own drive for Granite students is one of the best ways to support Granite Education Foundation! Follow the steps below if you're interested in raising much needed funds for students and teachers in Granite. 

  • Our needed items page lists our highest need items and shows what we can accept.

  • Have questions about our highest needs?

    Email contact@granitekids.org and a member of our staff will get back to you with our current highest needs!

  • Choose something you and your group are passionate about.

    This may be feeding students on the weekend, supporting teachers by donating supplies, or a combination of a few things! Most important, narrow your focus and choose the target for your drive.

  • Using an easy design website like Canva can really make the basis for your drive. If you plan to pass our flyers or send an email, you can attach your own flyer or one of ours!

  • Putting a QR code on your flyer allows anyone to donate directly to Granite students and your cause!

  • Tell a story and collect donations!

    Go to your community and tell them Granite's story. Ask for contributions as a part of your drive.

  • Volunteer and put together some kits!

    If you decide to collect donations for items in our kits, get your group together to assemble them. It's always fun seeing how many kits your group was able to donate and build!

  • Drop off your items!

    Our open donation hours are 8:00-12:00 Monday-Thursday, and by appointment if necessary. We'd love to meet you!

  • Take a tour.

    We offer tours of our Donation and Distribution Center, so feel free to schedule one with our staff to find out how your donation will directly impact Granite students.

  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
